Sumitex International Company Ltd. (STI) recognizes the importance of protecting personal information and will make efforts to protect personal information based on the following policies.
- With regard to the handling of information related to each individual (called "personal information" hereinafter), STI has been making efforts to appropriately protect personal information according to the rules within STI. STI has also established a system for protecting personal information.
- When acquiring personal information, STI shall indicate the range of the request and who to contact for questions and will obtain personal information solely to the extent necessary.
- STI shall use personal information only within the scope of the purposes indicated and manage personal information through the appropriate method. STI shall never disclose or provide personal information of any person to any third party without obtaining the prior consent of the person, except as required by the law, regulations or other special circumstances.
- STI shall keep personal information accurate and up to date and implement appropriate measures to prevent invalid access to, loss, destruction, falsification, and leak of personal information.
- If STI consigns the handling of personal information to an entity outside of STI, STI shall exercise appropriate controls to maintain confidentiality by binding the entity to the contract that prohibits leaking or disclosure of personal information.
- Based on this "privacy policy," STI shall provide appropriate education to all the personnel of STI to ensure the security control of personal information
- STI shall properly observe the laws, regulations, guidelines and other rules applied to the handling of personal information and shall seek to review and improve its privacy policy listed on this page as appropriate.
